I love that everything falls apart as much due to the rebels fighting the Empire as much as due to empires incompetence and an overzealous rogue agent of theirs. If it weren't for Dedra and Portagas allowing her to rise in ranks and indulged her projects, nothing of this would've happened.

11. last year i tried to get into one piece, ended up hating it, but got hyperfixated on ace portagas that i got his tattoo on my arm. it was my first ever one & i don’t regret it, he’s still the bestest boy but it’s always difficult to explain to one piece fans that i only like him, not the show 😭

I keep seeing dudes in shirtless cosplay (Portagas Ace and Toji Sen’in being especially frequent) and thinking “I wish I had the arms to pull that off”, then ending up next to them as going “hold up… could I?”
