And it's hard to get notes on something you worked your ass off on and believe in and not take it personally. That doesn't come naturally. That's a skill you have to learn and a muscle you need to exercise, but it is THE thing that will let you keep a career as a creative professional.

a “creative” at a client demoed a chatGPT plugin they made to resize images. They uploaded the image, typed a prompt and we waited as chatGPT resized the image. Then they put in another prompt to move it 20 pixels to the left. I could have done this in Photoshop in a 1/4 of the time

Of course the spot isn’t working, your script makes no sense and there is a 4 second gap that says nothing. No, I can’t push the VO back and space it out. That will suck all the energy out of the spot that you’re desperately trying to match the YouTube algorithm.

I'm amazed with all of the people out of work in LA and I keep having assistant editors in multiple production companies sending me footage with bad LUTs blowing out & over saturating everything, wrong audio sample rates and wrong codecs. I know there's tons of competent people out there. #postchat
