The first time I watched the OVA I was so dang heartbroken 😭 I’ve really warmed up to the end in subsequent rewatches but it’s still so bittersweet. I think writing postcanon fanfiction has really helped me reconcile the end because hey, we know all the characters just have to keep in touch!

also. I daydream about a postcanon scenario where terence is publicly disagreeing with dion about a choice/order that stands in opposition to dion's values somehow. and the way he gets him to reconsider is by saying 'know that I will do it'.

writing ysdn angst always feels like home. i thought i was gonna draw a bit this weekend (finally could sketch for some hours yesterday) but i've been invaded by a sudden spark of inspo for the postcanon wip. not gonna complain!

Reminds me of a fic I read once where postcanon!XL got hurt during a fight with a ghost(?) and completely broke down crying for HC’s help (he was also there for the fight) because he’d gotten so used to not being in pain anymore since marrying him 😭
