#PowerToThePeatlands Great Kick Off today for our new project #MoorPower in which we will investigate the effect of photovoltaic on rewetted peatlands with a large consortium of partners @greifswaldmoor.bsky.social @tannebergerf.bsky.social

Back from #PowerToThePeatlands in Den Bosch and still processing the overwhelming amount of #peatland content & people!
Big thanks to the organizers and the opportunity to talk about peatland monitoring (#MoMoK), #paludiculture (PaludiZentrale, Living Lab Teufelsmoor) and modelling (EO4Nature).

#PowerToThePeatlands conference in Den Bosch (NL) - it was an honour and pleasure to speak to 700 people about the beauty and connectivity of #peatlands in Europe. And to feel the energy, knowledge and dedication of the community at this extraordinary venue. A big thank you to the organisers!!

Not only on #EarthDay we work on #MakePeatlandsWetAgain and do research often associated with implementation projects: #RestoreNature #Paludiculture #WetterIsBetter #GHGexchange #RestoreEcosystemFunctioning
#PowerToThePeatlands #PeopleMakePeatlands

Late summer colours from our raised bog #restoration trial collecting plants & soil with my colleague Anke Günther. Can't wait to attend #powertothepeatlands conference next week in Antwerpen. Programme looks awesome:) #sphagnummonday @BfN_de @greifswaldmoor @terhorab @CarePeat
