District leaders held a public listening session to gather input on a possible reconfiguration from K–8 schools to preK–5 elementary and separate 6–8 middle schools. Officials emphasized no decision has been made and said research, staffing, transportation and facilities will guide the board.

Today was Book Character parade, so everyone not only dresses up as a favorite book character, but parents are encouraged to come watch.
Which is great, except that k-5 dropoff is 7:30 and PreK is at 8.
And the parade is at like 8:20, so there was no fucking room to drop Kid2 off when we came back
