In the mind of an American Christian Nationalist, there is nothing contradictory or hypocritical about this post. To someone who understands what religious pluralism is, this post by the US State Department is obviously self-undermining.

Also, seems weird that a "Christian theologian", and more specifically an Anglican, presumably believing in original sin and at the very least presumably very familiar with Calvinistic predestination, would be unfamiliar with the idea of guilt for something you personally didn't do.
