Our DM was sick the next night, so one of the other players that had been a forever DM before this campaign volunteered to run a one-shot because we couldn't bear not playing something. I grabbed the Shadowheart pregen on D&D Beyond and we took out rats in a basement. D&D is therapy.

Up until then I’d had to choose between printing PC sheets for cons for use & disposal or printing - mainly pregen - sheets & laminating them for re-use.
Now what happens is the players arrive.

I ended up going with this pose to challenge myself a bit. I need to finish sculpting the left leg and both arms. The shield is a seperate object so it can be printed seperated and attached once the mini has been painted :D

The #dragonbane QuickStart guide is a great way to try it out. Our 5E group needed a fill-in DM for a couple weeks. So I ran the adventure in the QuickStart guide with the pregen characters and we had a blast playing! It was a great fun. #ttrpg #dnd

Pues me apuntaría a eso: un one-shot con un PJ pregen. ¿Por qué? Porque así tanteo si la mesa va a ser comprensiva con alguien que no le sabe al sistema del todo y puedo rolear un PJ que sé si hay malas decisiones o tres unos seguidos no va a haber bleeding.

Never read the Red Box books before, the intro is quite engaging and does a pretty good job a bringing in the concepts gently
The solo adventure is a neat way to do it too
Some oddities, unless I'm missing parts, the pregen in the centre does not correspond well to the text (well known quirk?)

At Gamehole Con, I played a game I won’t name that had less-than-mediocre rules. But the premise was strong, the pregen characters outstanding, the starting adventure quite good, and the art and layout communicated well the required tone.

One of the players at my SF2E table is playing the Obozaya pregen as if they were The Rock, asking the Vlaka people if they are willing to put their title on the line. It has completely broken our GM 😂

Actionable suggestions, like providing pregens for the game you mentioned, along with a reason why, is another matter. If someone told me that I provided too many pregen characters for a game and they got choice paralysis, that's something I can consider, decide if I agree, and change if I want.
