No phone, no ID, no access to whatever decides it needs proof of who you are. What if your phone is lost, stolen, hacked, or broken...?

Every day companies are hacked exposing personal data, for every company requiring your age verification, that's your data at risk.
Legislation such as the Online Safety Act and Chat Control are ill-conceived and will cause real harm.

IDScan HACK ⚠️ #Privacy

The breach was ongoing for a year without IDScan knowing or admitting and still no confirmation that it's been stopped, only that a marketplace selling the ID's is offline.

It is very sad for me to see how in EU devs can get five years of prison (!) only for committing to #opensource project (!!). Because the project was used by crime elements. Are they going to punish DARPA devs for creating a Tor-protocol?
