How many freaking times do we need to do an impact study on this? It always, always increases wait times or causes other bottlenecks in the system, and sometimes these private clinics go under and government has to come to the rescue. At this point the burden of proof should be on the privatizers.

The “transformation” plan being proposed by MPS suggests closing a bunch of schools in the pursuit of “right-sizing” them for a consistent “MPS Experience.” It’s a template. And it’s not meant to help public education.

Hilario Dominguez was a CPS student and then CPS teacher. Making him, someone with so many levels of school experience, the next Board of Ed. President makes absolute sense. Vote for educators and people actually involved in the communities NOT billionaire backed privatizers.

Even if someone did take on these interests directly the whole architecture of government is in their favor given the number of contracts and how the government is run. Reagan and the privatizers and many other past schemes put a stranglehold on us now.
