O exemplar mais completo de Procolophon trigoniceps, uma espécie de réptil descoberta no século XIX. Viveu no Período Triássico (250 milhões de anos atrás). Este fóssil foi encontrado na África do Sul em 2023 e levou várias semanas para ser preparado no laboratório. Parece que estou trabalhando?

For #fossilfriday, Procolophon, a parareptile, from the early Triassic of South Africa. A Brazilian researcher encouraged me to photograph this beautiful specimen. These taxa had a wide geographic distribution, and are also found in Brazil, Russia, and Antarctica.
