We need progessive demagogery now more than ever. Like, unified daily fireside chats which don't shy away from scary democratic socialist policies, but which present a future with policies EVERYONE clearly wants, presented in about every way possible: stories, facts, data, plans.

This failed for Starmer and it will fail for Democrats if they try it on this side of the pond once they regain power. Among other things:
(1) mass publics lack well-formed ideological preferences; not being on board w/ the 'progessive' position does not imply support for the right-wing position +

The theory that “electable” means “work to appease right-wing bigots under the assumption that majorities agree with them, at least partially, and they prioritize it when voting” has been tried. It has failed. Try something else.
