I'm saying.

One more day till all this navel gazing is over and we can...resume the 2028 navel gazing and prognostication
I am seeing too many premortems. Let’s keep the mortems post. There are indicators but we don’t know for sure what happens tomorrow.

Election prognostication, polling and just general politics watching always includes a large amount of uncertainty.

This has very big implications for prognostication, risk adjustment, and RCT trial enrollment

This has meme potential. As early as possible in the 2028 election cycle, write a piece of earnest but inconsequential horserace prognostication. Another possible October surprise? ALL THE MOMS!!!
Getting moms involved at inopportune times is a 2026 tradition.
Also why is Haley Stevens mom releasing a statement on her behalf, is she twelve

First we heard about the "flood the zone" strategy explanation from Bannon and now this. He's still got it...his prognostication is spot on.

the one weird thing about abroad permanently now is I get no sense of the public mood on elections. just media. the last big election I didn't have any community zeitgeist was 2016, and that really broke my political prognostication confidence.

Grim. I think I made an overly optimistic prognostication that we in academia would probably not be doing this on search committees anytime soon, but that claim may be wildly premature

I'm curious if the federal granting agencies (NSF, NIH, NEH etc.) have started using AI to screen proposals

Yep, I'm too old to be wishing my life away, but I realy want it to be a Happy Wednesday NOW. I don't want any more prognostication stressing me!

I feel like we're just tugging the elastic on the jock strap out farther and farther and it's gonna hurt even more when it comes back on our collective nuts.

I'm no better at political prognostication than I am at metaphors.
