Yesterday was warm, the #moon was rising mid-day, purple deadnettle and hairy bittercress were blooming, house finches were on the feeder, daffodils were sprouting - what a great day! ☀️🌓🐦🌱😍 #Wildflowers #Birds #MyYardMyBirds #Nature #ProjectFeederwatch #NaturePhotography

The cold weather has brought lots of birds to the feeders and birdbaths. House sparrows were enjoying spa baths yesterday, but most birds are happy getting a drink. #birds #maryland #projectfeederwatch

#ontariofeeders #ManitouwadgeBirds #ProjectFeederWatch This beautiful super pale female Evening Grosbeak showed up on my feeder at noon today. She's quite feisty too! She's stunning! 😍

Do you know about @birdscanada.bsky.social's #ProjectFeederwatch? Count birds in your yard twice a week & contribute to #bird science! 😎

We set up our feeders last weekend, and the birds have finally found them! Goldfinches, nuthatches, chickadees, and woodpeckers! 🤩

Its a #ProjectFeederWatch day and i have not had my coffee yet. The brain is just not quick enough at the moment to handle this large mixed flock.
The cats are delighted though!

I was scanning the backyard today for a winter resident YB Sapsucker for #ProjectFeederwatch when this Red-shouldered Hawk flew in from my front yard feeders with some takeout European Starling. This predatory behavior is something you’re asked to document for the study. #Birds #CitizenScience

Honestly it's dangerous having my bird feeders in view from my desk 😅 Today I saw a Purple Finch and White-throated Sparrow for the first time at my feeders! I keep track for #ProjectFeederwatch, a great community science program by Cornell and @birdscanada.bsky.social 🪶
