3. Favourite Food

Once again, Hex has simple tastes with food and will be your human trash compactor.
If it's edible, it's great!

But his favourite is his mom's homemade wild boar sauce and couscous...

This might make you think his mom is a great cook.

She isn't.

A tiny coloured pencil doodle of my webcomic's main character, Hex, a cute lil' guy with bouncy red hair and a tidy red button-up. He sits at a table with a square plate of wild boar sauce and couscous, happily eating some while looking at something in the distance.

2. Favourite Flavour

Hex has simple preferences in flavour... He'll love almost anything you offer him.
But he especially has a soft spot for anything roasted over an open fire. :)

Good thing the farmhouse has a fireplace!

1. Favourite Beverage

Hex mostly drinks water and milk, but Cain introduces him to the fancy café life.
He'll grow a liking to sweet frappés and this syrupy strawberry drink with whipped cream. :>

No alcohol, though! His family has a bit of a history with it...

Bingo update: #ProjectHex Script finished!

Again a task that wasn't huge to begin with since I finished most of the script in early 2025.

But I finally sat down to clean it up and fill in some "for future me to figure out" plot points!

Here's a teaser for someone we'll also meet... someday. :)
Rough sketches for a character named Will, for my webcomic, Hex & Seal. He's grayed out because he's full of spoilers, but he's and elf who has long, wavy hair tied on a low ponytail with a red ribbon. He also wears a brack button-up with a thin red trim. He looks like quite the serious young man. My art and writing bingo card for 2026, now updated with its third bingo square! Finish the script for Hex & Seal. It's farther away from the other two squares so it didn't bring me much closer to a bingo...

So, #AceDay, huh?

Big surprise, a lot of my projects feature Aces... Here's a few!

Hex from Hex & Seal / #ProjectHex
Sheridan from... multiple projects,
Ludwig and Liddna from #ProjectVardan,
And Rolfmi and Kven from #ProjectRolfmi. :)
A cropped comic panel, showing the main character, Hex, smiling in the warm twilight of a summer night. He's an elven guy, although his ears are too short to be seen under his hair, with shoulder-length, bouncy red hair, brown skin and a white leather jacket over a dark red button-up. A digital drawing of a tall guy with very long red hair shrugging. His name is Sheridan and he's a doctor! But not a medical doctor... Still, he wears a lab coat and has a cute living plushie octopus reaching out of his pocket! Digital headshots of two older medieval elven people, Ludwig the innkeeper and Liddna the baker. Despite their similar names, they're not related! Ludwig has shoulder-length black hair, a receded hairline and a moustache above his playful smile. Meanwhile Liddna wears a pink and purple dress and a matching hair-net like thing. A sigital drawing of Kven, an ice-horned nobleman, and Rolfmi, a scruffy swordsman. Kven holds Rolfmi's face, urgently pleading Rolf to look him in the eyes.

I've wanted to practise using coloured pencils so here's a little art project for me. :)

Time for me to drop some lore on Hex! xD

Finished the page so might as well do a comparison of the WIP vs. the final panel. :P

A panel from my webcomic, Hex & Seal. The main character, Hex, has a chat with Jake the mailman while each is walking their dog on a late summer night. Jake shrugs while smiling as he jokes about being lucky to be undead. Can't catch colds when you're dead! Hex smiles back at Jake. He could do without colds himself too.

Oh yeah, I participated in a drawing session on Magma a while ago and here's what I drew for the shared canvas!

Hex originally was shrugging because I couldn't get pressure sensitivity to work, but then someone suggested a fix that worked and I changed his pose to this!

Wish we could link 2 quotes together. But a screenshot it is!

My first post on Hex & Seal / #ProjectHex was me designing him on December 26th.

First page was posted on December 28th. Quick!
But my birthday is the 27th.. Almost shared.

It's wild he could have had Long hair and red or blue eyes!
A screenshot of my first post of my comic main character, Hex. I was testing different hair styles and hair colours. I quickly decided on his short, bouncy hair style, but his eye colour had me stumped for a while. I think at some point red eyes were winning, since two of the sketches feature that, but in the end I went with purple so he wouldn't have both red hair and eyes. The text of the post has me groaning over the game where I was making him, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, not letting you change the hair style and colour until after you've locked in the skin and eye colours. Don't like how the skin tone and eyes look with the hair? Too bad! Better reset and try a different combo!

Working on a page with two very similar poses.
Of course I'll sketch them on top of each other.

But I wasn't prepared for how _scary_ Hex looks when both layers are visible...
Dude having his "I'm so angry" Ren & Stimpy moment...
#WIP #ProjectHex
Rough digital sketches of a character first looking quite content, then being tense and startled. And finally the two sketches layered over on top of each other which gives this feeling of him smiling and shivering like he's about to tear someone limb from limb.

More 3D shenanigans for Hex & Seal. Because 3D is more fun than drawing for me. 😂 How fortunate that 3D also makes the drawing part less horrible!

Now I have the exterior for Hex's chicken coop!
Aaand also need to go rest my arm, lol. It's so hard to stop once you get going. :') #ProjectHex
A screenshot from Blender. I'm working on 3D models for my comic character's farm. Thus far I have his farmhouse, which is missing some details still, and his chicken coop that also has an outdoor enclosure.

Webcomic: Hex & Seal

❈ Fantasy BL + Mystery
❈ Who killed Hex's grandfather and why?
❈ The locals fear the spirits. The spirits fear people.
❈ Hex wants to mend what was broken.

❈ Will Hex find love..?
Or succumb to what the spirits warned him about?

A promo collage for my webcomic, Hex & Seal. The comic started as a left-handed art challenge but since my right arm is slowly getting better, guess I'll continue right-handed. The main character is Hex, a modern day wizard with brown skin, chin-length red hair and a white leather coat. The panels showcased feature Hex sitting on the floor of an unlit chicken coop, thinking about his embarrassing life decisions, then Hex reflected in the window of his grandfather's old house, and thirdly him looking over to the pasture where his one cow, Amoolet, looks back at him. We also have an aerial shot of the farm along with the somewhat ominous notion: Even without a Whisperer everyone knew to stay away from the farm. And finally we have Hex petting the cheeks of a cute white sheep which seems to smile just as widely as he is.
