Proofreads are in and done! It's nice to see that I'm getting better at this sort of thing.

i've yet to see a single outlet that proofreads short video captions. even cnn or abc barely seem to check them, and small content creators always let a typo in it seems

Man, when I've sent out proofreads to authors for checking, I've left all the proofreader comments in, and asked the author to either STET or provide the change that they want, as a reply to the original comment. Then I've made the changes in InDesign to avoid fucking with the layout in PDF form!

Buuuuuut if the manuscript is not ready for a copyedit or proofread, it won't actually BE only a copyedit/proofread anyway—because the larger issues will make it impossible for the scope to only be copyedits/proofreads.

But now that I can sit down, my attention can be turned towards music again.
I always seem to discover little mistakes and shortcomings when it comes to everyone elses' work on Petal Crash Neo-Geo, which I guess means I get to be the one who proofreads everything as updates happen periodically.
