Thanks! Both gals add their distict style / psychosis to the psychobiddy lexicon. No worries on the Internet. Glad I at least got the second drawing done instead spending the show doing of the Sisyphean task of being pissed at Skynet. Let the rock roll to the bottom; I'm drawing! 😆👍📼🇺🇸 #FrightClub

On the subject of Bette Davis Psychobiddy chauffeurs, at least this guy doesn't smile evilly, penetrating your soul like that hearse driver in Burnt Offerings ...

Huh ... She looks old but is actually young ... definitely behaving in a manner that is considered "psycho" by cinematic standards ... Not sure if this qualifies as psychobiddy or not ...

Truth! Thinking of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis in their various psychobiddy films too! Really sad that their talent was being overlooked, but love the films that came out of it!

Amy Madigan is absolutely phenomenal in this, and Gladys is positively terrifying. The psycho-est psychobiddy since Baby Jane! 🫡

psychobiddy is a genre specifically about older women. kathy bates was 42 in that movie. she's not old enough! the movie has to in some part be ABOUT aging & it's not about aging! women can be psycho without being biddies.

I'm becoming a bit obsessed with Jennifer Welch. Not that I necessarily agree with everything she says but it's therapeutic to hear an American who looks and sounds like her saying useful things. Dark Woke etc. My thing is more Psychobiddy Woke but there's crossover.

It amuses me that the cast includes Lionel Jeffries, director of The Railway Children, as this has the feel of an E. Nesbitt children’s tale slowly being invaded by something far darker…
