anyway mentioned this to Rys but I do not think Wyra likes the ethos key. She’s seen a lot of cursed treasure in her line of work and her psychometry echo still works on cursed objects, but it doesn’t here. Just a cacophony of voices and static/unclear images. And in conjunction with Miayli’s

Like this could absolutely be a canon divergent thing here since I don’t think WoL particularly feels strongly one way or the other but I am the one who gave my guy psychometry and I think Wyra would try to use it and fail and be upset by it.

I bet the Rune Carrier crew could do good business in some sort of psychometry shop. You'd bring in a mundane item, a tool or something, and they'd tell you a bit about its temporal history. Rune could even tell you if it was happy, or how you could use it better to make it happier.

Psychometry was far from the most reliable method of hunting someone down, but Elian and Nefeli were figuring it out. They spent most of their time following the trails she could establish, letting Kai and Danika handle any other leads. Right now, their focus was on finding Akari.
