Ookow flowers (Dichelostemma congestum) atop a long, snaky bare stem. The leaves look like strappy grass, and are hard to spot amid the grass!

A cluster of lavender blue, 6 petaled, small lily-like flowers and flower buds are perched at the end of a reddish green stem. The plant leaves look like grass blades.
