#Pulmonologists
To add insult a goddamn dermatologist diagnosed me finally. I saw 3 pulmonologists and none of them could (or would) figure it out. This lady took one look at my face and was like oh I know exactly what the fuck is wrong with you.
Sarcoidosis is what was wrong.

I think that's great but I'm gonna wait until the pulmonologists start smoking, thanks.

say that either.

I have very severe asthma (& COPD). Not only have my pulmonologists (including at NJH in Denver) never recommended shorter intervals between Tdap boosters, but I currently am followed directly by a pharmacist at my lung center (appointments...

Oh no, Snarky!! I've now got 2 pulmonologists and an big ol' team of ophthalmologists and retina specialists. They don't know what triggers it, but your immune system goes to fight an insult, typically in your lungs, and it forgets to turn off, creating granulomas.

Pulmonologists are already fighting big insurance

Ok, respiratory physicians/pulmonologists on here have probably heard of PCD. But probably not seen many cases. If any. Or you might have seen it and missed it.

I saw 3 pulmonologists in 3 years, had thousands of dollars in tests, was treated like I was just fat, drug seeking, and hysterical, and it was my great ENT who’d first referred me to pulmonology who gave me the best treatment and explanation when I went back to her in frustration. The second

Anyway, it's a good time to thank the extraordinary pulmonologists at NYU at Mt Sinai, who helped thousands of us in the months after 9/11

Creation & implementation of discharge guidelines for preterm infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia
Complex patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) are managed by neonatologists during the hospitalization, then care shifts to outpatient specialists, including pediatric pulmonologists, following discharge. During this transition, variable care among the medical team can lead to inconsistent care and adverse outcomes. Methods Through the development of BPD Discharge Guidelines and a “SAFER” Discharge Score, this project introduced a comprehensive approach to discharge planning in order to standardize care, ensure a smooth transition home, and improve the reliability of discharge planning. The “SAFER” Discharge Score consists of five criteria: pulmonology consultation during the admission (S – See patient), provision of an action plan with emergency contact information (A – Action Plan), scheduling of pulmonology follow up prior to discharge (F – Follow Up), caregiver education for oxygen equipment (E – Education), and a repeat chest radiograph prior to discharge (R – Radiograph). Results Our statistical analysis showed a significant process change, with an improvement in the mean discharge score from 3.0 to 3.9 from January 2021 to December 2022. We also observed a reduction in time to outpatient pulmonology follow up, decreasing from an average of 42.7 days following NICU discharge to 25.1 days (post-intervention). Conclusion Our study demonstrates that a...

cough reflex? I’ve even done work with a speech therapist for it because the lung damage from Covid added another kind of cough, so my brilliant ENT worked to help me find ways to manage it after 3 pulmonologists in 3 years did lots of tests (that’s how they found whooping cough) but no real help.

No, that’s seems like malpractice. I don’t know what is about themI’ve never had good experiences with pulmonologists. My mom’s doctor said it should vape instead of smoke because it’s healthier and while she was on hospice said she was fine.

According to cardiologists and pulmonologists that have observed President Trump's videos and photographs. His health is in serious condition and continuing to ignore it could be a catastrophe. I hope J.D. Vance is ready to take over as President or we're all screwed

Hanging in, dear friend. I have a battle of the pulmonologists happening right now, and I am confused, as fuck.😳😳
August 21, 2026 at 6:43 PM
Yeah, that story about the respirologists recommending going back to cigarettes doesn’t ring true (down to to the fact that they’re usually referred to as pulmonologists).

Speaking of pulmonologists, I think that dumb prick was pulling our legs. He’s a fucking pullmanologist 😹
Who gives a fuck about THE NICOTINE?! Are you out of your FUCKING MIND?!

A. I don't believe you, you're absolutely full of shit.
B. Again, who gives a solitary fuck about the amount of nicotine? How about the amount of carcinogens?

Doctors counseling people to smoke, like it's the 1940s 🤣

I would like to ask my fellow pulmonologists, both pediatric and Adult if they have any real world experience with the Mini box plus for pulmonary function testing. Thanks

unfortunately there is a new teen vaping psa where they have a big pinball machine and that actually looks kinda cool. i want to go to an arcade to play the vaping pinball machine. im sorry pulmonologists.
on one hand, i do not want advertisers collecting infinite information about me and using it to "intelligently" serve up personalized ads.

on the other hand, i sure wish there was a way i could tell them "I am not a teenager, and have never consumed tobacco, so i do not need Teen Vaping PSAs".

AI will create a lot of jobs for security guards, pulmonologists, oncologists, gravediggers and "journalists" explaining to you that burying your child before dying yourself is good actually.
