The author still has not mentioned the fact that art directors exist. That there is reason and meaning imbued into why things look like they do in works like these. The purposefulness of creating something, of expression through these mediums is totally lost on these people.

I did door-to-door for a few years, diff gigs, one suited up the other in work-boots hardhat and yellow vest. At both extremes, carrying a clipboard seemed to add a sense of authority or purposefulness. I could linger anywhere as long as I occasionally checked my clipboard.
