The only one I can think of that are explicitly Catholic is POPE YES,
But obviously all regional taco places, Taco Time, Taco Del Mar, are catholic coded, but conversely suburban burrito places, Qudoba and Moe’s are Protestant coded.

A location of a chain of Mexican restaurants was targeted by ICE in the St. Louis area. They rolled up and scooped up the manager and 2 cooks as they arrived for work. The place is on a rural highway. All 3 were released later because they aren’t criminals. Who tipped ICE? Competitor? Local racists?

I went to the protest today on Manchester Road in St Louis County. One solid wall of people from Qudoba to Home Depot- one mile. Some up Weideman and the other side of Manchester. What a fun and affirming time. I feel seen!

Like chipotle/qudoba def didn’t offer delivery until DoorDash. Your local Mexican place maybe did though? It was usually the kinda of places that did hard corn tortilla tacos with shredded romaine/cheddar and the worst diced tomatoes you can imagine though
