Apparently rules changed around 2012 requiring an identified viral trigger, hence low reporting.

Many were assigned R53 (Malaise and fatigue) or R53.82 (Chronic fatigue, unspecified).

It may as well be ends of the spectrum but if I were to buy a "fun" car anytime soon, which probs isn't happening, R53 or NB Miata. Nothing else is valued anywhere near reasonably in Greece and they're the most fun 1.6s I could get.

1. ME/CFS wird weiterhin als Erkrankung unter G93.3x kodiert, der unspezifische Sammelcode G93.3 ist für KV-Abrechnung/AU jedoch nicht mehr zulässig.
Nun muss differenziert werden:
• G93.30 postinfektiös
(inkl. ME)
• G93.31- nicht postinfektiös
• G93.39- nicht näher bezeichnet

Ein roter Hinweis warnt: „Dieser Code ist für die KV-Abrechnung und die AU-Bedruckung nicht zulässig. PEM wird damit auch ohne vollständig erfüllte ME/CFS-Diagnose kodierbar.

Das kann frühe Erfassung und damit Schutz ermöglichen,
trennt PEM aber zugleich kodiersystematisch von der ME/CFS Diagnose.
