The rainbow orgs here do extraordinary work with almost nothing. GMA, OUTLine, RainbowYOUTH, Burnett Foundation. QueerSpace is one small tool in a big kit they built long before me.

Rainbow Action Tāmaki considers seeking legal advice after Winston Peters' Facebook post over protest
“That is false,” it said. “We organised the protest in response to a bill that affects the rights, dignity and legal recognition of all New Zealanders and especially trans, takatāpui, intersex and rainbow communities and other women.” The letter went on to say Peters’ response to the protest portrayed those attending as “inauthentic, unintelligent and dishonest”. If Rainbow Action Tāmaki wanted to take him to court, it should “go ahead”. He claimed the court process would allow emails between the group and the Green Party “and whomever else you...

Naughty book list, skipping the Locked Tomb trilogy by Tamsin Muir

Now, as for films and television that aren’t hobbit based, just be aware we’re a bit sweary, equal opportunity with nudity, think jokes about bums are funny.

Ok, very sweary

But also, spades are spades

(2/3) "Our community came out in droves to co-sign the letter, and here are just a few of the kind messages that they left our gender-diverse rangatahi ⭐💜. We hope all of our trans and gender-diverse community feel seen and heard today. You deserve nothing less!"- RainbowYOUTH 🌈

Oh they do have good food, but not everyone is paid enough to get it.

Also in New Zealand is the single serve hand held mince pie. It’s everywhere and a lot of lunch breaks are to find one.

It’s in this lovely PSA about how we’re very literal about how we label things

Reading this thread reminded me of the renewal campaign's partnership with RainbowYOUTH—I think the fandom topped $20k donated with that one. I wouldn't be shocked if total donations across the last 4 years didn't hit $200k or thereabouts.

I've just sent them a complaint about this one too. I've suggested talking to some actual LGBTQ+ organisations, GMA, RainbowYOUTH, and Tīwhanawhana, but I doubt they will.
