Don’t believe the lie that more austerity is the Chancellor’s only option:

Labour has declared WAR on the sick and disabled.

Absolutely disgusting, and we deserve so much better.

Britons cutting back on spending.

Not surprising.

Real average wage unchanged since 2008, two child benefit cap, winter fuel payment cut, frozen tax thresholds, unchecked corporate profiteering.

1% has more wealth than 70% of the population combined.

Must redistribute. End austerity.

Fiscal rules are works of fiction. They are as made up as fairy tales are, and yet the Chancellor is asking us to believe that she should manage the economy by complying with them. Why is she so deeply misguided, whilst taking us for fools?

#RachelTheAccountant and #KeirStarmer have a strange idea about what #Growth is .. or isn't
January 29, 2025 at 11:05 AM
#RachelTheAccountant still can't #Change stuck for ideas other than to raid #Pensions
Who trusts her ??
Reeves to seek billions for growth from corporate pension surpluses.

Will trustees and scheme members have any say?

What if investment under political pressure goes belly-up? Govt will need to provide guarantees. Otherwise pensions may be cut or not paid.

More than £60bn could be released from blue-chip company retirement schemes under proposals to be outlined by the chancellor this week, Sky News learns.

#RachelTheAccountant proudly outing herself as a nasty mean bit of soulless 💩 preferring to kick people whilst their down
#NotMyLabourParty 😡
Rachel Reeves has penned an article for The Sun where she proudly promises to slash £8 billion in essential benefits for the sick and disabled.
We are truly through the looking glass, Starmer and Reeves Labour Party is an absolute travesty, beyond sickening.

Rachel Reeves - “We have been listening to the concerns that have been raised by the non-dom community”
Really? The non-dom…community, ultra-wealthy people who live in the UK who pay their taxes abroad, she’s off her rocker.

#RachelTheAccountant is a disgrace but that's nothing new to say. She doesn't listen to anyone she is supposed to serve and protect ie UK citizens. I don't even feel better or even smug about not voting Labour (after 50+years) because I truly hoped I was wrong...
January 24, 2025 at 11:08 AM
She perceives herself being weak if she changes her mind which is of course the opposite of reality. Changing your mind shows strength of character #RachelTheAccountant

#RachelTheAccountant clearly is in the wrong job for us by it perfect for Starver's agenda ..
If I believed in God I'd pray
Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.
Looks like Rachel from accounts hasn't learned.
Rachel from accounts has hinted (nudge nudge, wink wink) that she's going to remove laws preventing unscrupulous loans & lending. Clearly, this'll get the city Loan Sharks frothing.

Unfortunately, deregulation of financial systems has been done before but spectacularly blew up under Labour in 2008.
January 18, 2025 at 7:39 PM
But is #RachelTheAccountant brave enough to listen ?
I've written to Rachel Reeves about the financial struggles facing councils across the country & the impossible choices they're having to make. Public services have been cut to the bone & we're all feeling the impact. We need to see a wealth tax, not further cuts.

@10dowingstreet.bsky.social
The damning report from HoC committee should have been enough to stop her
Why didn't it ??
Rachel Reeves refused permission for the National Audit Office to investigate England's 48 SEZ's and 8 Freeports despite a damning report from the House of Commons Committee in April 2024. Next up Blackrock and Labour plan to privatise the UK.

UK Chancellor visits China to seek investment.

China economic success built on state investment & ownership of essential industries.

71% of China Fortune 500 companies are state-owned. Gives govt leverage for economic interventions.

UK wedded to privatisations.
