My congressman hosted a workshop for constituents where we broke into groups and decided how we’d like to cut federal spending. The ONE thing every group agreed on was #RaiseTheCap for #SocialSecurity contributions.

If all income in excess of $400,000 were subject to the Social Security payroll tax, Social Security’s solvency would be guaranteed forever. We could also expand Social Security benefits.
