Realizing I haven't mentioned it in a while and you may not know it, but I am currently unemployed, having been laid off a few weeks ago.

This is correct, and companies need to be consistent and decisive on this.
Hire people who can actually do journalism about each sport.

Sarah says that treating women's sports like a beat is part of the problem, that it would be crazy to be like "we talked about the NFL so we can skip MLB today" and that we need to see different demos and the appeal across different spaces. diversifying investments.
