Shameless retweet for the benefit of new followers and those not familiar with our split screen features...

Feature update: our split screen now allows you to quickly jump around in your document, just by clicking a citation (and vice versa).

And we're back... hopefully that's now resolved. Let us know if you're still seeing issues.

x.com/reciteworks/st…
We're currently experiencing some issues with document conversion. If you're seeing errors when you upload, try uploading as .docx, .txt, or pasting your text via our text box method, as these require no conversion. We'll get this resolved ASAP.

We also support introducing the acronym in the form -

"In a paper by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the results showed X and Y (CDC, 2019)."

Which is an alternative as described in the APA manual.

x.com/reciteworks/st…
Update today improves support for inconsistent acronyms for org. authors.

Eg. The APA manual says to use (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], 2019) for your first cite.

We now support this and correctly match up "CDC" with the full name in your Ref List.

This works for our new split screen view, which shows your citations side by side with the annotated article ⬇️

New feature: Enhanced split screen view.

Our split screen now offers two different views, one with citations and reference list and one with citations and annotated article.

Simply click the split screen icon a second time to toggle.

Hi, @reciteworks. I'm a #medical #editor who would love to be able to use Recite to check whether all #references in a #manuscript are #cited in the text. Please consider adding the ability to check refs formatted in AMA style. See sample refs here:...

I meant it as a tool like reciteworks to help us check our own work before submission. I also like your approach.

Still work in progress, but has lots of fun things.

Just to show a bit of the other functionality we already have in there...

Given similarities, maybe can combine forces.
