#Request+Line
I think McDonald's learned their lesson last year allowing people to request No purchase necessary Monopoly pieces on line for free. That option isn't available this year, you have to write in one request at a time and with today's postage rate each request cost $1.64.

So compliance holds the line, as it should. The request sits in legal review with no end date. Meanwhile, someone less ethical trains on data procured through questionable means.

The rules are right. What's missing is proof of permission, and a way to track it and respond when it changes.

There is no better and more malicious way to inflict harm on someone than tossing a 50k line pull request over the fence
I like seeing the dev of the SNES core on the Pocket actually telling one of these dudes off. Holy shit.

The only way you submit a 50,000 line pull request and not feel *intense* shame about it, is if you have gleefully atrophied every last bit of your understanding of what programming is.

Like submitting a 50,000 line pull request is something to be extremely embarrassed about, it's something anyone in programming communities would joke about in the same way you would a person who brings a human foot to a potluck.

Imagine how fucking rotted a person's brain has to be to submit a 50,000 line pull request and not perceive that what you are doing is *incredibly* embarrassing and antisocial.

A vibecoder can no longer notice they're greeting people by spraying hot dogshit all over the place.

One line at the start of your next AI request will save you most of the back and forth.

The line is: "Before you start, ask me the questions you need answered, one at a time."

You'll get asked about things you forgot to mention, like who it's for or what you've already tried.

50k of line differences, no one is going to review a pull request like that.

Know your legal rights before heading to the polls on Election Day. Alexis Nwatu outlines the 3 key rights to know before voting in person.

1️⃣ In line when polls close? Stay in line.
2️⃣ Machine failure? Ask for paper.

I honestly don't think it doesn't make sense to send a connection request on LinkedIn and send a message asking for a job. It's out of the line and I feel like it is very vulgar.

Build the feature, open the pull request, let an agent review it, file new issues, send another round of agents at them. That loop is starting to look like an assembly line for code.

Was thinking of doing a silly little request thread like an "oc shipping/interaction" booth... just to practice such things where I just dump my ocs in a line and people can pick a little guy for me to draw their oc with hehe
