Why does CIHR's researchnet platform send a verification code every single time I log in? What are they trying to protect me from? "Oh no, someone logged in and worked on my project grant application, that's terrible."

It has been an emotional journey of a morning with the CIHR notifications (but not funding decisions) coming out -the adrenaline of waiting for ResearchNet 2FA, reading the tea leaves of the SO notes from my grants, and checking in on friends & colleagues - it's a lot. #ifyouknowyouknow #fundscience

But eliminating 3xND grants (how many could that be) isn't going to change app pressure, especially when "is this a resubmission" is either a checkbox on ResearchNet and/or a subjective judgement that would require enormous extra work to assess.

#CIHR folks, I've had 2 Co-A applns recently on which I entered my CCV/MSC/consent & saved, but it didn't seem to "stick." Luckily the NPAs were on top of things both times & reached out. On 1 I had to save & reload 4 times to make the CCV# stick. Is something up w #ResearchNet or is this me?

Are others getting a lot of Error 500s on ResearchNet the past couple weeks? I have been; luckily always pretty quickly resolved (within minutes, so just keep trying). Heads up, anyway--might not want to save that PG or CGRD-D submission until the very last minute this time around.
