A big part of my interest in WoW Forever is that I believe that Retail's lore is just pointless to care about now. The lore and worldbuilding for the things I'm even remotely interested in with WoW are basically just toxic sludge. I need a vaguely fresh narrative restart divorced from the baggage.

At 4x oversubscribed this means retail's share (20% or $15bn) is closer to 5x oversubscribed than 4x...about in-line with total oversubscription.

Shein and Temu are cutting into Amazon’s business, so now the ecommerce giant is planning to respond with a discount section of its own.

It’s another stage in retail’s race to the bottom on labor abuses and environmental harm — and it needs to be stopped before it’s too late.

I think it might be partly because we do do Thanksgiving (husband is a US dual national) that I find British retail’s embrace of Black Friday, floating free from any actual holiday, so profoundly dispiriting.

One of the nice things about Thanksgiving is it’s not about buying stuff.

If I had a sale for every 'suggested product I should sell', may be able to afford to buy them...

Always researching, long list of products love to stock however, need money to buy them & cover other costs.

Retail's like gambling, betting people will buy before bills exceed sales - fucking scary.

Amazon continues to eat brick&mortar retail’s asshole out because a 2-day wait is worth not dealing with the far less enjoyable experience of going out to a store to immediately get things you don’t usually need immediately. This is “bootlegging media is simply the easiest option” but for pants.
