Today's vote in the @europarl.europa.eu on the #ReturnRegulation marks a dark chapter: one that normalises deportations, violations, detention and externalisation at the expenses of fundamental rights and democratic scrutiny and accountability.
Today's vote paves the way for mass detention, family separation and deportations - normalising abuse we've seen with ICE in the US.
Now Commission, Council and Parliament will work to hammer out a final text.

Today's vote in the @europarl.europa.eu on the #ReturnRegulation marks a dark chapter: one that normalises deportations, violations, detention and externalisation at the expenses of fundamental rights and democratic scrutiny and accountability.
