While fitting in five meetings since Thursday, I did have a bit of a trip. Visited Llanelli, Got up at sunrise & went to Rhossili, Culver Hole, Oxwich, Pennard & Mumbles. This is a view from Rhosilli.

I’ve been every year since I was 8 so I’d say the odds are pretty good on me going again. It’s probably my favourite place to be

A sadly undervisited area of the UK. Everyone goes to London. If they venture outside, it's to Scotland or Ireland (and then mainly Eire, rather than Northern Ireland). Wales has its own culture, its own language, and as you say, stunning scenery. Check out its beaches! #rhosilli

A sadly undervisited area of the UK. Everyone goes to London. If they venture outside, it's to Scotland or Ireland (and then mainly Eire, rather than Northern Ireland). Wales has its own culture, its own language, and as you say, stunning scenery. Check out its beaches! #rhosilli

We used to go on holiday to Port Eynon bay (before the sand 'mysteriously' disappeared) in a tiny cottage near the ex-lifeboat station. On spring tides, the sea came up round three sides of it - magical for a kid. Would regularly walk out to Worm's Head and Rhosilli ...

For #WorldOceanDay and #AlphabetChallenge, #WeekWforWater, a very strong on-shore wind met the falling tide (I think it was that way round) to create this dramatic effect at Rhosilli Bay last summer.

Swansea itself is a bit meh, but just outside of it, Mumbles & Gower are fab. If you have the time, 3 cliffs bay, or a bit further afield there is Rhosilli. For something to eat Rasoi Waterfront. I nearly forgot the Glynn Vivian art gallery.

Swansea itself is a bit meh, but just outside of it, Mumbles & Gower are fab. If you have the time, 3 cliffs bay, or a bit further afield there is Rhosilli. For something to eat Rasoi Waterfront. I nearly forgot the Glynn Vivian art gallery.

the stretch closest to Rhosilli has a sloping aspect where it is difficult to stop a slip ~ further out the ledges are well defined ~ but agree ~ stay well back ~ taking a walk below the cliffs will show just how high they are
