This weekend, I took a long walk through #Asheville along the path of the flooding from #Helene. The #RiverArtsDistrict recovery has entered a new phase where many of the ruins have been cleared. So many vacant lots, and my memories of the buildings are already fading.

A minor milestone...I finally finished this salvaged jar of paint. During the studio flood from #helene this half-empty jar floated up off of my painting table and landed upright on top of a display cabinet like it had been placed there. Weird. #asheville #ashevilleartist #riverartsdistrict
