There’s a lot of good stuff at the moment. I’m surprisely enjoying not one but two romcom K-dramas: #DreamToYou and #MyBiasMyBoss. On the C-drama front #RoadToSplendour is winning out. And then there are allllllll the BLs. A new one just dropped yesterday that I’m pretty feral about, called #Ash.

Are you still watching #RoadtoSplendour? Ep 21 was a yawnfest. Need to know if it improves or I'm out.

I will never be able to obsess over Ding Yuxi and I generally dislike a "cheeky ML" but the show is quality and entertaining so what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also love a conscious colour choice in dramas and the yellow/gold is so pretty 💛🧡

Btw I can see why you are all talking about #RoadtoSplendour. It's everything I had hoped #RoyalBetrothal would be. Terrific plot with nail-biting twists & turns. A story needs great characters first but then great characters need a story that lets them shine for good or ill.

I dropped. Everyone is watching short drama #TheShadowSovereign. 🔥& racy with beautiful 2nd FL from #POJ, not the princess, t'other. Also picked up new #MysticNine which is fast action spooky with #WilliamChen. Dropped #RoadtoSplendour. Sank into yawnfest of politics & stale romance.

One that’s currently airing which has some traction is #RoyalBetrothal, although it’s more of a fun ride (depending on what you find fun) than a high-quality must watch. Today, the new Ding Yuxi starts - #RoadToSplendour. It could be worth a look (assuming enough eps release by then.)

Bored now #RoadtoSplendour. Don't give af about salt politics & #ZhaoLing seems to have forgotten he's in love with FL. Sadly, romance & plot have ground to a halt. @alicepoonauthor.bsky.social says #MysticNine is fab so I started tonight. It's 🎆. Creepy & exciting! Also William Chen.😍

Enjoying: #DreamToYou and #MyBiasMyBoss (both good solid K-drama romcoms, one with more drama the other with more silly fun)
Paused but intending to return: #RoadToSplendour (beautiful, heartfelt, long)

Not comparing, stating why I prefer #PursuitofJade over #RoadtoSplendour though I think the latter is better written (so far). FL in POJ is stronger. A lot less crying & being needed to be rescued by ML. I understand why t'other is like she is & written that way but not to my liking. 🤷

The main C-drama flavour of the month around here at the moment is #RoadToSplendour. Even AvenueX had mostly good things to say about it.

Who's dissing her? I already said I like her. Brains to burn. Agreed she's perfect foil to ML's brawn. But I prefer FLs with martial arts & Fan Changyu is a fabulous character. Zhao Ling is the shining star of #RoadtoSplendour while both lead characters shine with equal light in #PursuitofJade.

Nope. But sometimes you get geo-blocked for who-knows-what reason. But then there are always new links if that happens, you just keep clicking. No ads! That's where I was watching #RoadtoSplendour. Also all the Cheng Lei's except what's on Viki.
