Atomic Robo Kid.
For me this doesn't work as an arcade game. It's a semi-tactical push scroller and it feels like a home port of itself. Gfx are pretty but level design is poor.
Somehow triggered an infinite lives cheat/bug that made it bearable. Probably worth checking out the console versions 6/10

Timeskip Qisteria! They're not involved with anything going on with Settlement 2 (maybe 👁️) but another Wis is governor, so they're keeping an eye on it... They mostly just want to enjoy some peaceful married life tho 🥺

It's funny going from Pragmata to Saros. Pragmata is mega cosy, with Hugh trudging through pretty, intricate levels chit-chatting with a perky robokid; in Saros we sprint silkily through a discordant, burnt hellscape like a supercharged Jesse Faden Ferrari X-Man. Sci-fi whiplash.

Robokid; SU's tape was full of dross, highlight being a sound sampler program plus a re-release of Mean Streak; Crash's highlights were a re-release of the classic Bounder and a demo of Toyota Celica GT Rally. Point to YS. (2/2)

David is made with the expectation he’ll only ever have one primary parent - which is weird and says a lot about Kubrick and Spielberg
It simply wouldn’t work in my family where there are essentially three parents fully invested in the kids. All of us would want responsibility for a robokid too

I really liked the Amiga conversion of Atomic Robokid. I was useless at it but still had loads of fun playing it.

NGL, I had all 6 of those tapes and played the shit out of them. Most notably Rampage, Aliens, and the demos of Lemmings, Atomic Robokid, Mystical and Dominion. Too young to consider the impact the covertapes had on the market.
