Oooh #ShadowLove is overtaking #RomanceOfTigerAndRose for heart-in-his-eyes, overflowing-with-love-and-devotion ML. #Chenglei is killing his role as Jin’an

Day2: Loser in Love

The ML in #RomanceOfTigerAndRose still takes the cake. This is also still my favorite FL-transmigrates-into-the-villain-of-the-story drama.

Ehhhh I don’t know if I can come up with an analogue, though I would recommend #RomanceOfTigerAndRose for being a romcom that also introduces the audience to transmigration. It’s funny, silly, and the ML has some of the best “hearts shooting out of his eyes” acting of anyone ever

#Cdrama drug of entry #AshesofLove with bar set high once again by #YangZi & #DengLun. Rewatchables where I've lost count: #PrisonerofBeauty, #TheDouble, #LoveLiketheGalaxy, #AreYoutheOne, #HiddenLove. Returning less but still: #RomanceofTigerandRose, #TheLongBallad.

Whaaaah?? we must agree to disagree. My favorite cdrama of all time came out in 2020: #LoveAndRedemption

Other 2020 absolute faves:
#CrossFire #RomanceOfTigerAndRose #HikaruNoGo #GoAhead #SkateIntoLove

Personal assistant/secretary?

1000% my favorite is the FLs attendant in #RomanceOfTigerAndRose. I would watch a full drama of the two of them in character just being bros and watching his antics

Actor?

Our transmigrated FL in #RomanceOfTigerAndRose

I also love the transmigrated actor FLs in #MyOnlyLoveSong and #ADreamWithinADream but #ZhouLusi takes the crown for me. Its still my favorite of her roles and I love it for a fun rewatch whenever I want a zany good time

lol I started ep one when my husband was next to me. He has only watched pieces of historical cdramas, but he too was cracking up at the three-way stab and still mentions it. I think the humor works beyond its setting and might actually be a good intro to the setting like #RomanceOfTigerAndRose

One of my favorite #Cdramas is #RomanceOfTigerAndRose because it's ridiculously silly, has some of my favorite actors, and because the costume team did an AMAZING job signaling what was happening with color coding. And it's 100% something you can adapt and use in your books.

True! LOVED #AshesofLove, #RomanceofTigerAndRose & #LoveAndRedemption. But really there were so many terrible ones, even with #ZhaoLusi. Now many more are excellent. But I'm glad they stopped the 60-90 episodes; couldn't believe the end of #TheRiseofPhoenixes after all those hours spent. 😭

Yes, remember her hilarious assistant in #RomanceofTigerandRose who's also in FL's boy gang in #PursuitofJade? Apparently he was the coffee guy on some set of hers & she got him hired. Turned out to be a a brilliant comic actor. He must've made her laugh at some point & she recognised his gift.

You can't convince me. I rewatched #RomanceofTigerandRose so often, his features are ingrained in my brain. I seriously doubt at this point that any Chinese actor over 25 has not had work done.

And sometimes the dramas are more of a soapbox fantasy like #RomanceOfTigerAndRose or #LegendOfTheFemaleGeneral where the they can cut past the constraints and say, hey confront your own thinking about what role women play in society, what’s expected vs what’s possible

#romanceoftigerandrose tá muito gostosinho de assistir, é exatamente o tipo de farofada que eu amo. Pena que já tá na metade, só mais 10 episódios e termino :/

She doesn’t even think as she swings a leg over him to blow the candles out. Han Shuo gives a sharp intake of breath, and Chen Xiaoqian freezes as her worldview shifts.
