**ALT text for Bluesky:** Fine art nude photograph taken inside Russell Battery near Fort Stevens in Astoria, Oregon. A nude woman stands centered in a rectangular concrete access point of the old military structure. Her arms are stretched upward, hands touching the rusted beam above her, while her legs are planted wide in a strong, grounded pose. She faces the camera directly with a calm, powerful expression. The setting is raw and weathered: exposed concrete walls, dark stains, rust, peeling surfaces, moisture marks, and traces of vegetation slowly reclaiming the space. The hard geometry of the bunker frames the soft lines of the human body, creating a striking contrast between military architecture and living flesh. The light falls across the model’s face, torso, arms, and legs, separating her from the shadowed interior behind her. The warm tone of skin stands against green-gray concrete, black shadow, and oxidized metal. The image feels both strong and vulnerable: a human figure held inside a place built for war, now softened by time, decay, nature, and light. The photograph explores contrast: body and bunker, softness and stone, rust and skin, history and presence. It presents the nude form as sculptural, intentional, and expressive, making the location part of the emotional language of the image.

The sawmill sleeps, its machines rusted and quiet.
She leans into the silence, breathing life into forgotten timber.
For a heartbeat, the past stirs.
