Managed around 15 minutes on Orion this morning.
Orion is still sitting low in the sky at the moment, but he’s slowly climbing higher as we head towards the winter months.
Always good to see an old friend returning to the night sky.

Only had it on the Moon and Sun so far (new scope weather). Battery life seems great - only charged it once so far. Will post tonights Wizard nebula once I've got enough data (got the old S50 and the new S50Pro on the same target!)

Just got some high level haze over the Moon now. Trying my new S50Pro on the Wizard nebula as well, but getting lots of gradients from local streetlights. We'll see if they can be processed out!

Yeah, I was surprised. The S50Pro sensor is supposed to be better, but I don't think it's *that* much better. I suspect the LP filter helped by getting rid of some of the light from the streetlight. I'll try and LP vs LP filter on the two scopes next clear night.

I've got the S50 on IRCUT and the S50Pro on LP. I was thinking to try for an HOO or SHO palette, with RGB stars from the S50. Maybe that's a bit ambitious for the first DSO? 😂

退職者の退職日は決まっているのに、交代の人員の目途が立たない事が判明
それはつまり、既にマイナスになっている現場の人員が更にマイナスになると言う事((((；ﾟДﾟ))))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙ
今残存してる人も負担増で辞めかねないので早急に対処して欲しい所存です
そう言えば、Seestarに出るだろうと言われていたS50Proが発売になりました
お値段、圧巻の20万円💦
以前のが8万ぐらいだったので、一気に倍増です
初心者向けなのに、初心者が買えないレベルのような…(-_-;)
海外艦とお祭り
夏ももう終わりですね

I'm having a lot of fun doing it. If you can wait until the s50pro you won't be sorry. Plus if you're in the Northern hemisphere you won't get much chance to startgaze anyway now that summer is nearly here and the nights are too short.
