Captured with the Seestar S30 Pro in EQ mode + dual-band filter. Stacked in StackingWizard, processed in AstroWizard & Lightroom.

The old data stack (right) didn't note the number of subs/time, but it was probably a third versus the stack in the 2nd pic (left). This app really compresses pics (understandable) but you can get the idea. I'm starting to like M1 now #Astrophotography #AstroWizard #StackingWizard

I've been working on taking pictures of M31, the Andromeda Galaxy

Tried stacking and processing using Lukomatico's StackingWizard and AstroWizard, really happy with those apps. I feel like image processing is a big barrier for the hobby and Luko is doing wonders for accessibility

NGC 281, also known as IC 11, SH2-184, and more commonly known as the “Pacman Nebula,” is an emission nebula located 9,100 light-years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia. This nebula measures 20 x 30 arc minutes in size and is associated with the Open Cluster IC 1590. This object was first discovered by Edward Emerson Barnard in August 1883, who described it as "a large faint nebula, very diffuse."

I woke up this morning to find my telescope on the floor and my tripod leaning against the curtains, upside down.
I was very squiffy when I went to bed and can't remember how that happened.
Still, 2 Hrs on the Pelican Nebula turned out OK.

The Pelican Nebula (IC 5070) is a bright emission nebula found in the constellation of Cygnus. It is physically part of the same cloud complex as the North America Nebula (NGC 7000). A foreground dark cloud (Lynds Dark Nebula LDN 935) creates the visual gap between these two well-known targets. Modern Gaia-based studies place the complex at roughly 2,600–2,700 light-years away (older sources often quoted ~1,800 light-years). The Pelican spans roughly 60′ × 50′ and lies near the bright star Deneb, though Deneb is not the ionizing source.
