装置に触らずにSECS/GEMの接続を試す方法があります。PythonのsecsgemはHSMS（SEMI E37）のみ対応で、シリアルのSECS-I（SEMI E4）は未対応。公式リリースは0.3.0（2024-09-14）で、READMEは今も「work in progress」。本番の置き換えではなく、上位が要求する会話をノートPC一台で先に体験する道具として読みました。

SEMI E132の公開要旨には「確立済みセッションのデータの暗号化は求めない」とあり、認可も「制限なし」から規格の範囲内です。EDA（Interface A）対応と書いてあるだけでは、通信が守られている保証にはならない。SOAP版かProtocol Buffers版か、どのFreezeの組か。認証と暗号化の扱いも含めて、装置の発注仕様書にはそこまで書いておきたい。
