This is SH2-248, The Jellyfish Nebula, and Sh2-252, The Monkey Head Nebula.

C'è una testa di scimmia nel cielo è nella costellazione di Orione 🐵 si chiama Sh2-252. S non sta per scimmia 😅 ma per Sharpless ovvero il tipo di catalogazione di queste regioni di spazio e h2 sta per idrogeno ionizzato dalla radiazione ultravioletta dalle giovani stelle in formazione. ✨

Also known as NGC 2174 and Sharpless Sh2-252, this H II emission nebula is located some 6,400 light-years away in the constellation Orion.

The nebula is primarily composed of hydrogen which glows at infrared wavelengths due to the radiation from the stars near its center.

Cataloguée Sh2-252, c'est une nébuleuse en émission (hydrogène ionisé - HII), accessible entre les pieds de Castor (Gémeaux) et le bras droit d'Orion, située à environ 6 450 années-lumière et elle représente environ la taille de la pleine Lune sur la voûte céleste (30 min. d'arc).
