that's because this demand is illusory. It is, if I had to guess, largely NVIDIA and associated ODMs like Quanta/Wistron/Foxconn/SMCI/HPE, AMD and Broadcom "doing AI." On some level it's "there's demand so we need to meet it," even though that goes wrong almost every time

You could also say TSMC, storage and memory companies can't scale up fast enough to meet demand. These fabs cost tens of billions of dollars and take years.
