This is me after being pepper sprayed by SPPD. The crowd was noisy but completely nonviolent. There was a lot of anger but no violence from the crowd- SPPD escalated.

Open questions remain, and we're in communication with witnesses & SPPD to get those questions answered. If the city finds that any laws—at all—were broken by ICE, SPPD needs to hold those agents accountable. If you have any information, please share it with us here or at ward4@ci.stpaul.mn.us.

Imagine standing on a freezing corner in broad daylight in a high visibility vest while paramilitary goons cruise by you in droves. It's terrifying. We're alone out there. SPPD officers passed me yesterday- refused to make eye contact.
I have a colleague telling me he and his neighbors have had to form volunteer patrol squads to protect children as they go to and from school with zero assistance from anyone in authority?
