D'Andre Swift isn't getting enough attention during the 2026 season, but the Chicago Bears running back is having a memorable one.

An attempt to save NASA’s $500 million Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory from dropping out of orbit fell short, but the behind-the-scenes machinations required just to make a rescue possible deserve recognition, government and commercial space officials said in a recounting of the mission. The rescue mission was developed by Katalyst Space Technologies, working under a $30 million contract awarded by NASA last September. NASA gave Katalyst nine months to build and launch a satellite to capture Swift flying some 200 miles above the Earth and boost it into a higher orbit. Katalyst’s rescue spacecraft, known as Link, successfully launched July 3 and completed some of its initial checkouts before a malfunction caused it to spin out of control a few weeks later. NASA announced in August that Link would not be able to reach Swift as intended, and the rescue mission was aborted. Still, designing and building a satellite, finding a rocket to launch it, and getting it to work in the harsh environment of space was a remarkable achievement. Dakota Johnson und Taylor Swift können offenbar stundenlang über True Crime sprechen. Genau diese gemeinsame Leidenschaft spielte auch bei Swifts neuem Musikvideo 'Patient Zero' eine Rolle. Johnson ist neben Colin Farrell und Cara Delevingne in dem aufwendig inszenierten Video zu sehen, das am Sonntag (27. September) bei den MTV Video Music Awards Premiere feierte. Die 36-Jährige spielt darin eine Frau, deren Beziehung zur von Farrell verkörperten Figur offenbar von Missbrauch geprägt ist. Swift tritt als Geist seiner verstorbenen Ehefrau auf und ist dabei genauso gekleidet wie Johnsons Figur. Die Idee sei bereits seit längerer Zeit in Vorbereitung gewesen, verriet Johnson im Gespräch mit Greg James bei BBC Radio 1. "Taylor und ich sind wirklich gute Freundinnen, und wir reden sehr viel über alles, wirklich über alles auf diesem Planeten", sagte sie. Ein Thema komme dabei besonders häufig zur Sprache: "Ein großer Teil davon ist True Crime." Johnson schwärmte zugleich von der Kreativität ihrer Freundin. Swift sei "ein Genie", erklärte sie. Johnson gehörte ebenso wie BBC-Moderator Greg James zu den rund 1.000 Gästen bei Swifts Hochzeit mit Travis Kelce im Madison Square Garden im Juli. Die Feier sei "so schön" gewesen und habe genau zu Swift gepasst. "Es war alles, wovon sie geträumt hat", erzählte Johnson. Auf die Frage, ob die Öffentlichkeit irgendwann Fotos von der Hochzeit zu sehen bekommen werde, fiel ihre Antwort allerdings denkbar knapp aus: "Nein."
