31) Faselei! (Neo Geo Pocket Color). Came on my radar after an RPGFan review in 2019(!). Found it in ‘24 at a resale shop. I enjoyed it; in many ways it’s more similar to action-programming board games I’ve played than other video games. Solid grid-based tactics game with several viable strategies.

With the exception of FF6, I was definitely more a Dragon Quest person with not branching out to Sacnoth and GameArts.
Playstation 2 era changed a lot of that.

If a poem counts "A Poem Beginning with a Line by Pindar" by Robert Duncan! (And perhaps his other poetry as well). Also probably THE FEMALE MAN (Joanna Russ) and "The Fortress Unvanquishable Save for Sacnoth" (Lord Dunsany). And ALWAYS COMING HOME (Ursula K. LeGuin), a veritable dossier of a novel
