McKenzie River Trail- Sahalie Falls, Koosah Falls, and Blue Pool Loop, Willamette National Forest, near Sisters, Oregon Sahalie Falls as it spills into a blue pool churned with whitewater below. Three streams of water form the low water Koosah falls, which is one large flow in higher water. Amazing how much water there is even in September. Looking down into the blue abyss that is Blue Pool. The logs seen at the bottom are just that, and not to be confused with sticks by the perspective in the 30 ft or so deep water.

#SahalieFalls in central #Oregon. This 73' drop along the McKenzie River can be seen from a short walk right off OR-126 a few miles south of #SantiamJunction.

A little boy in jeans, a zip up hoodie and a ball cap holding hands with a woman in leggings, a hoodie and a sun hat, her sleeves rolled up to show both arms covered in tattoos. They are walking over tree roots on a dirt trail through the trees.
