Two thoughts.
Unless I'm mistaken the guidance generally is to stick with your vehicle.
Secondly, if you're often going places without cell reception get a satcomm device. They have ones that are single use.
iPhones and certain androids also offer emergency SOS satellite features.

The location and size of that (likely) satcomm hump towards the tail seems somewhat uniquely identifying if you find a match to it. There are some intercontinental configured 737s with similar but the ones I've found have it mounted farther forward. (Iana aircraft expert)

There's no comms. I have contacts in the NG, and there's only satcomm in and out. (As of a few hours ago)

It’s outfitted with the latest Putin surveillance tech. He will not have to abscond classified docs and store in WC anymore, just satcomm direct to Putin.

I remember back in the day before satcomm was common in maritime radio, HF would be really degraded. We relied on CW MF. Does this affect satellite comms or is that too hi frequency?

Glad to help. I've worked in networking most of my life and have worked in cellular so satcomm is very similar in architecture, just different ranges and frequencies.
I also had StarLink when it was my only option and spent some time figuring things out.

(My understanding is that Ukr government began using Starlink terminals (aka, satellite internet) at the start of the war for continuity of govt purposes. Good comms being fungible - and somewhat resilient - military units made use of them too. It's real different from DoD satcomm.)
