I'm not keen on "ban them!" dogpiles but if openly organizing and promoting scambots doesn't merit banning someone, I don't get what would ever be sufficient.

i think a lot about the blackwall in cyberpunk but what if the AIs were all just scambots and content slop, rather than actively genocidal warlords
There’s an awful lot of people who love to think about the grey-goo problem of nanotechnology because it’s flashy and sci-fi who don’t want to think about how LLMs are capable of doing that to the Internet.
i do think there's sort of an interesting business problem emerging for someone like google, because i'm not sure how big the market for auto-generated video content with auto-generated ads could actually be, but i suspect the volume of that content will make it even more unusuable

Just realised the reason for Zuckerberg making AI friends is not a weird tech bro attempt at being nice, it's to create next gen scambots that people trust and relay more personal or sensitive information to.
