The best case scenario is that this is a stock shorting scheme, and in a week, there will be masterful (non-existent) "dealmaking" that removes the tariffs after the billionaires buy the dip causing a massive transfer of wealth.

This is what I think of as a specific kind of ignorance that heavily affects young white guys who work in tech. It says “i don’t know about this, so I assume no one else does either.” It’s new to them, so it must be new to everybody!

Scenario 1: Jack does not resign. A symbolic but ineffective defiance. Gets fired on day 1 of the incoming administration. His SC report get editorialized and/or buried.
Scenario 2: Jack resigns. Finishes his report summarizing the investigations. Garland makes it public.
