More excellent pelagic birding off Scilly yesterday with 6 Wilson’s storm-petrels, 6 Cory’s, 1 great & 1 sooty shearwater, amongst dozens of local Euro stormies & Manxies.

Getting ‘the big three’, & multiple Wilson’s in one photo frame, in June is absurd!

As I don't do many of the Scilly Pelagics a chance to go last night was a good choice, as I saw my 1st UK South Polar Skua along with Great, Cory's, Sooty and Manx Shearwaters plus 4 Wilson's in with a good number of European Stormies. With @Scillypelagics . A great evening.

Just back from a fortnight on Isles of Scilly.
Memories made & laughs had with friends & fellow birders.
Highlights included, Mourning Dove - Britain's first.
Eyebrowed Thrush, Eurasian Hoopoe, American Pipit, Spotted Sandpiper & Common Rosefinch.
